This homemade vanilla icecream is a house favorite in summer. My third son and husband eat it plain but my other three sons have it with chocolate syrup. It’s a simple recipe but a word of warning – It involves raw eggs.
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup milk
2 pasteurized eggs
3/4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
